How much is my forest worth?
This is a frequently asked question from our customers. For an accurate answer, you should first look at your forest management plan.
The forest plan, valid for 10 years, is an overview of forest resources and status, which also contains an indicative action plan for forest management. It contains the stock of the growing forest, the main tree species, assortment, habitat type, and density. In addition to timber, the location and access of the property also affect the price formation.

We also carry out felling inspections and send an overview of the work progress to the forest owner. Thus, the owner can assess the quality and conduct supervision himself without leaving home.
A forest management plan is an overview of forest resources and status, which also contains an indicative action plan for forest management. The plan, which is valid for 10 years, sets out the stock of the growing forest, the main tree species and restrictions, the assortment, habitat site and density. Only state-approved and licensed forestry assessment companies are allowed to prepare and approve the plan, which gives you a guarantee for unbiased data.
A sustainable forest management practice often means that after cutting down the trees, real work only begins. Meaning that the law sets an obligation for the forest owner to ensure the regeneration of the forest, either by natural means, by planting seedlings, or by sowing seeds.
Years ago, we decided to take responsibility for the entire life cycle of the forest. Therefore, we added forest renewal to our company’s range of services. The cultivation process includes ground preparation and sowing, or domestic seedlings with planting service. Both types of reforestation are followed by the maintenance of young trees.
Today, many landowners do not have the time or interest to cultivate their own agricultural land, therefore they opt to rent it out. The issue is the rental income tends to be low, which often results in property sales to ensure better financial outcome. We work with livestock and grain growers, which gives us knowledge about areas with increased buying interest, and therefore we trace better prices. We also buy overgrown or greenlands to restore them and take them back into agricultural use.
