Eesti Metsameister knows that the forest is the greatest value of the Estonian people. Our mission is to increase the knowledge of landowners about sustainable forest management – forest management does not end with logging but is mostly followed by planting and maintenance of young forest. Only in this way will we be able to ensure the preservation of Estonia’s most important asset for the next generations.
We established the largest privately owned forest plant in Estonia
Since 2017, we have been the only Estonian forest company that owns a private forest plant nursery. The establishment of the nursery was motivated by the shortage of high-quality seedlings in the country and the desire to provide our customers with domestic seedlings for the establishment of a new generation of forests. Today we grow open-rooted young trees along with potted ones. The assortment includes spruce, birch, pine, and common alder seedlings.
